Recently, I’ve been thinking about pursuing my studies
overseas as they did not provide the interested in the course locally. I had
done a research online and found a school in the US to study Respiratory
therapy. Knowing that studying overseas would require a large sum of money, I’m
now in a dilemma if I should continue my studies locally where I am restricted with
the same course or to study overseas where I am able to study what I like and
interested in.
Somewhere deep in my heart I know that I’m actually waiting
for a miracle to happen given my family’s financial status and the condition of
my dad’s health (worsening over the years). I know that I am able to apply a
local scholarship to study overseas; however, I knew my chances of success would
be very slim as they usually take in ‘A’ level student who have done
exceptionally well in their studies over an average polytechnic student.
