Looking back at the team photos on facebook remind me of the memories and fun times we had together, may it be in training, life guarding at Kusu Island or being referee at Changi Beach Club... YOU guys never failed to liven up the atmosphere, with your craziness and laughter.

I know some of you guys may dislike for attend training regularly, but I... think it would be best for me to leave the team because I found out that I no longer like to swim anymore. All that passion and enthusiasm that once existed are now all gone...

I realized I am much much more happy and livelier after I had went missing for training sessions.

Those 14 years... of which 6 years in competitive, had given a very good experience in my sporting hobby.

The competitive times were the most bitterest and the hardest moment of my life as I had to not only struggle with my sports but as well as my studies too. Being a sportswoman in the past, I understand that being able to survive in this sports circle, you have to try all your means by not only climbing to the top but also able to maintain or even better improve your performance, as there will also be people trying to overtake your position.

I also believe that once a person has climbed to his/her limits, there will be no more room for improvement even though how much efforts you take. Or the problem can be in the person, determining how much the person is actually wants to excel. Both points are very crucial in excelling in sports.

No matter what gender you are, we are on equal standings, it still boils down the one's determination.

After talking so much, I guess it is really time for me to let go.... of my hobby and starts to focus on studies now.
